Exploring Ontario and Beyond Together
Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
I’ve always been a fan of road trips. There’s something about hitting the open road, discovering new places, and making memories that just feels magical. When I first met Ayr, our very first date turned into a fun little adventure that ended with a spontaneous road trip to Niagara Falls. It was such a special day, and even more meaningful in hindsight since we later got married there.

Our Story
Ever since, road trips and adventures have been a big part of our lives. Whether it’s exploring a charming small town, finding a cool brewery, or chasing a beautiful waterfall, we absolutely love discovering everything Ontario has to offer. Date nights for us are always about making meaningful memories, even though we each have different passions.
I’ve loved road tripping so much that it even shaped my career. I worked as a travelling sales manager, which gave me the perfect excuse to seek out hidden gems and enjoy new places along the way. Ayr, on the other hand, is an incredibly talented musician—you might have even seen him playing around downtown Toronto and across Ontario. Of course, COVID changed the game for him drastically, but together we navigated the challenges, grew stronger as a couple, and discovered a shared passion: showcasing Ontario through travel.
My Instagram page started simply as a way to share snippets of the cool places we were visiting. People kept saying, “You have the best eye for cute places!” Over time, I decided to elevate the page, taking photography courses and focusing on creating content that highlights amazing local Canadian brands and businesses. Ayr is always down for an adventure and is a big part of the behind-the-scenes work, and together we created @inspiredbyouradventures.
Now, this blog is a place where we can dive deeper, sharing full itineraries, hidden gems, insider tips, and all the little details that don’t always fit in a quick social media post. We hope this space inspires you to get out there and explore Ontario with the same joy and curiosity that we do.
